Tallahassee, FL – Matt Liebenhaut was recently designated a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine.
To be chosen as a Rising Star, lawyers are asked to personally nominate who they think are the best attorneys in their field. In order to be nominated, every candidate has to be no more than 40 years of age and also have to practice law for 10 years or less.
After the general surveys, the Rising Star research team reviews the accreditation and license of each nominee, making sure they are in good standing with the state licensing agency and have no history of malpractice. The research team is led by attorneys themselves, who accredit points based on their evaluation criteria.
In the final selection process, all points are added up and totaled from each and every stage. The attorneys are then ranked by overall points they have accumulated. Those who have the highest number of points are recognized on the Rising Star list. “I’m proud to be one of only two Florida lawyers designated a Rising Star for my work with disabled clients,” says Matt Liebenhaut.
